Who is Amy Jo Neal?

It’s hard to sum up who I am in one little page but if you’re going to read my blog, perhaps take my advice and possibly even work with me, you should know a little about me, dontcha think?

So, here’s my catchy headline:  FROM HOLLYWOOD HOTSHOT TO TOP MLM LEADER:  My Story.  Ha!  Do you like it?  Okay, enough of schnazzy headlines.  Let me give you the real scoop.

First and foremost, I’m a Mom.  And yes, I’m also an Entrpreneur, MLM Leader/Trainer, Internet Marketer, Casting Director, Coach, Speaker and a whole bunch of other things, but I like to lead with what’s most important…my “why”.  My Momhood.  Here’s what happened…

After working as the VP of Casting for HBO for 14 years, in a corporate job that was fabulous and extremely sought-after on the outside, I was hurting inside.  Why?  Because every single day, I had to drop my beautiful son off at day care and go spend 10 hours a day working hard to build someone else’s dream, while I watched my son grow up in a car seat commuting to and from work and in the picture frames on my desk.  So, no matter how glamorous and high-paying my job was, I was missing out on what was most important to me.

Then one day I had an epiphany. I threw my hands up and looked up and said to whatever is out there listening “There has to be another way…Please show me!”.  Did you ever have one of those moments?

Well, a couple of days later, an opportunity landed in my lap.   Something called Network Marketing.  A good friend didn’t pre-judge me.  She didn’t look at my success and think “she’d never do this”.  She simply invited me to a conference call and I listened and I was hooked.  And I signed up on the spot.  My prayer had been answered.

Now I’ll shortcut a little here or this page will be epic.  I managed to somehow sponsor a few people and then I got stuck.  Really stuck.  And my upline, bless her heart…well, she knew how to BE successful, but she did not know how to TEACH me how to do it.  Know what I mean?

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT IS IMPORTANT…pay attention.

You see, this is the part where most people quit Network Marketing.  They say, this doesn’t work, and all that trash.  But I knew it did.  I mean this lovely woman was making boatloads of money.  Clearly it works.  So, therefore I concluded I must be missing some information.  I chose to go and get it.

I googled all sorts of stuff and came across a video promoting My Lead System Pro which gave me all the missing pieces that my sweet upline was incapable of giving me.  I did exactly what they taught me and I began to attract people, generate leads online and offline and ultimately sponsor lots of new reps into my business.  I quickly sped up the ranks of my business and have been flying high ever since. And I’m blessed to be able to share exactly how it’s done with anyone that is willing to follow some simple steps and who chooses to honor themselves by not giving up their dreams.

Oh, of course I did leave that company and that sponsor.  Not because of her, but because I did not choose wisely that first time around and that company was a dud.  I got out and 6 months later it folded.  The next time around I chose WISELY.  I carefully chose a great company with INTEGRITY and leaders who could TEACH  me how to do what they were doing and had PROVEN it time and time again.

And it has paid off. 

Is this a fairytale?  No.  It’s just a simple story of how I refused to quit and I was determined to succeed because that cute little green-eyed boy that I love needed his mom.  Simple.

Now, I’m a full-time Entrepreneur.  I’m home every day when he gets home from school.  I get to be there for my beautiful boy.  How does it get even better than that?

Was this an accident?  No.  I CHOSE it.  I created it.  AND YOU CAN TOO.  Don’t ever let anyone or anything stand in your way.  You CAN create a successful Network Marketing business or any business that you desire.  Align yourself with people of integrity…great LEADERS who can teach you to be one too.
