MLM Tip:  SCRIPTS ARE STUPID, THROW THEM AWAY!

What?  Okay, scripts are not stupid.  But it can feel that way if you’re attempting to put someone else’s words in your mouth and trying to sound natural and spontaneous when speaking to your prospects. 

When I first started in Network Marketing, it was suggested to me that I use a script to talk to my prospects.  Now this was lucky for me because even though I had no skill whatsoever in sales, I knew how to use scripts because of my performing background.  I instinctively knew something about this that greatly assisted me in my prospecting and closing.

Now, this is not a skill I was born with.  This is a learned skill.  I just learned it for a different business but it works anyway.

Here’s the good part.  Anyone can do it.  There is ONE KEY THING YOU MUST KNOW before you attempt to work with a script though.   This one thing which goes counter to what you may think about scripts.

READ THE SCRIPT.  GET TO KNOW THE SCRIPT.  THEN THROW AWAY THE SCRIPT.

Now, most times I look at these UBER-Successful MLMers and I get inspired by them.  But this morning I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, my business, and everything.  Instead, I started comparing myself to them.  Ugh.  Has that ever happened to you? 

Well, in the past, before I started my journey into Network Marketing and Personal Development, I might have just sunken into the abyss and stayed there and swirled around in that mood til whenever.

But now, I know EXACTLY what steps to take to get my head back in the GAME and get my INSPIRATION leading me to where I desire to go, instead of indulging in negativity.  There is no way to PRODUCE when you swirl in negativity. 

Let me say that again:  THERE IS NO WAY TO PRODUCE WHEN YOU SWIRL IN NEGATIVITY!

And PRODUCING is what PAYS us.  This is something that some marketers forget sometimes.  And if you can’t PRODUCE when you’re in a negative headspace, WHY ON EARTH would you allow yourself to stay there? 

So, here’s exactly what I did YESTERDAY to get out of a funk and back into PRODUCTION!

Robots?  Yes, Robots.  If you’ve read anything on my blog or been following me on YouTube for a little while now, you’ll know I get inspired from unusual things.  Today, it’s robots.

Watching a bunch of 11-year olds battle robots was a great visual representation of what most Network Marketers do wrong when they market their business and an even BETTER visual about what happens when you do it right.  I can try to explain it, but a picture is worth a thousand words. 

I think you’ll understand when you watch…at the very least, you might even get a chuckle

Have you ever tried to talk to a prospect, someone in your warm market about your business…You give them the ol’ elevator pitch…  For example…  “Hey Joe, I just found out how to get gold and silver for free and make a great income too!”  And they say: “Wow!  What is it?”  And that’s where the trouble begins…

You start to scramble for an explanation…telling them waaaaaaay too much.  Next thing you know, you’re telling them about the Coded Bonuses, and the BMW program and how you get money on autoship everymonth…Basically, you’re doing a presentation.  Oh no!!

And as you do that, slowly, your prospect’s body language changes.  They start to close up and move back and they disengage. 

You’ve lost them.

Well, that’s because you didn’t have THESE SIX WORDS to assist you.  They are so simple but so POWERFUL.  As soon as you see how this works, you’re going to be racing to the phone to tell someone about your business.  This really helped me and I hope it helps you too!  Let me know!!!
