- Technique #1 – Memory Jogger
A memory jogger is a tool to help you think of people that you know in your warm market beyond who comes to your mind naturally. A good memory jogger will help you dig deep and beyond the obvious, and find people you know or have known in your life that might really want what you have and actually be great at it. - Technique #2 – Meetup.com
If you are not familiar with this site, go check it out immediately. First of all, it’s free. And, yes, it’s an online resource, BUT, it’s an online resource for meeting people OFFLINE. This site has thousands of meetings in your local area on every possible topic, subject and commonality where you can find YOUR perfect prospect and connect LIVE. How cool is that? Here’s some great free training on how to use Meetup.com.
- Technique #3 – Call Realtor Signs
All those signs you pass by that have a house for sale in our neighborhood? Well, they have a name and number on there and sometimes even a face of a person that’s a perfect prospect for any network marketing business – A Realtor. They use the same skills that we do, are amazing networkers, and they’ve been hit hard by the economy…Perfect. You are literally driving by names every day that you can call and add to your network marketing list. - Technique #4 –Referrals
I know that seems simple and you hear it all the time, but most people don’t do this and it’s a BIG mistake. In fact, I recently sponsored a great real estate broker onto my team who brought 3 people onto her team in 5 days and guess what, she was a referral from someone in my warm market who said NO (FYI, I got him from using that memory jogger list). How? Because I asked. Now, if you are like me and could never seem to get anyone to give you a name when you had the guts to ask, but are willing to ask again if you knew a better way check out this post I did on “How To Get Referrals Effortlessly After They’ve Said No”.
There are so many other ways to build your network marketing list offline that this post would be 20 pages long if I went into detail on them all here, so here’s a quick list of a few other ways to build your network and create endless amounts people to add to your network marketing list.

5. Networking Events – Beyond meetup.com there are tons of networking events in your local area with people who are looking to network with you ON PURPOSE. Check out your local Chamber of Commerce, BNI or other networking groups and go connect.
6. Bandit Signs – My buddy Adam Chandler did a great training on exactly how this gets him 25 leads a day – You can watch it here.
7. Drop Cards – These are cards that look like money; you drop ‘em on the ground in high traffic areas. When people pick them up and open them, it has your ad inside.
8. Post It Notes – This is a great, practically free, strategy to get leads. Stamp your ad on a post it not and stick ‘em in high traffic areas like gas pumps and ATMs.
9. Flip a telemarketer who calls you – These folks are fearless when making calls and I guarantee they don’t make a fraction of what they could make if they knew about your network marketing business.
10. Bulletin Boards – You see bulletin boards all the time with business cards on them. Grab as many as you can and call them. They actually put them there so people will call. Give them what they want.
11. Grab Biz Cards out of fish bowls – See bulletin boards above
12. Hang Flyers – Do I need to explain this?
13. Junk Mail – When people send you “junk mail”, they are actually business owners who are seeking out people to call them…great prospect!
14. Give your product as a gift – If it’s a great product, people will ask you more about it.
15. Business Card Contest Bowl – Ask local small businesses if you can put a fish bowl in their store to get business cards – give away a cool prize and people will put their business cards in there. Call them!
16. Magazine & Newspapers Ads – Self-explanatory
17. Call Business Owners advertisements – See bulletin boards above
18. Car Magnets – Yup, they do work.
Okay, that should give you a great running start to creating and expanding your warm market to build your network marketing list. I dare you NOT to be successful if you truly employ some of those strategies.

So, you want to build a Network Marketing List Online?
In my last post Should You Make a Network Marketing List?…Or Is That Just Old School B.S.?, we discussed what the whole hoopla around making a network marketing list is and why you MUST have one. Now the question is how. There are two basic categories of list building — Online and Offline. Today we will focus on how to build your network marketing list online, otherwise known as internet marketing or online network marketing.
First a caveat: If you think internet marketing is the be all and end all and it will free you from the old school “make your list” thing, think again. Online network marketing IS nothing more than creating a warm market from scratch online instead of using an existing warm market offline and adding and expanding that list. It’s just one of many ways to connect with people and create a network.

Understanding how to draw people to you who ask you about your business and ask you to join your team is powerful…and fun!
In order to build your MLM leads list using online network marketing, you must recognize that the second word in Network Marketing is MARKETING. You must learn marketing. Period.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about my own Network Marketing List. How many times have you heard “the money is in the list”. What the heck does that even mean? And do you really have to make a list? I mean isn’t that just old school network marketing from the dark ages? For goodness sakes – we have the internet now! We can do our network marketing business online!
Do I really need a Network Marketing LIST???
Okay, let’s break this down into bites. In fact, once I started writing I realized that this information is really more than one blog post. So, this will be the first in a 3-part series. Make sure and come back for bite # 2 and bite #3. In the meantime, let’s get started.
Bite #1: “The Money is in the List” … Your network marketing List, that is.
Who hasn’t been slapped in the face with this quote? So, why is the “money in the list”? Well, let’s start with what makes up your network marketing list. PEOPLE. People make up your list. Your Network Marketing business is a business of connecting with people. In fact, this part is so important, it’s even in the title of our profession: NETWORK marketing. NETWORK. A network of PEOPLE. So, in order to connect and ultimately sponsor people and create customers, you must start with a list of people.
When I first learned attraction marketing, one of the first things I learned about a list is “Build a list. Build a relationship with your list. THEN, Monetize the list. But, you know, in thinking about it right now, I realize that although those three steps are true, there’s really one missing. It should be: Build a list. Build a relationship with your list. QUALIFY your list. Then Monetize your list. In fact, I think that step is so important, it will be the entire subject of my next post after this series. Stay tuned.
Back to the matter at hand.
You see how the monetization part comes last?
You can’t extract MONEY from your network marketing list if you don’t HAVE a list.
You can’t create money from a list if you don’t have a RELATIONSHIP with your list. Getting money from your list means: find people, connect with them and build a relationship, THEN you can see if they qualify and along comes the MONEY.
Ignoring the making of a list is somewhat like saying, you want to build a house. You buy the beautiful, pristine, untouched plot of land. Then you go out and buy curtains and try to hang them…But you forgot something…You forgot the foundation. Oh, and the house. You can’t hang curtains on an emply plot of land. Your list is your foundation on which to build your business.
Now I know many of you are thinking…”Sure Amy, that’s great but just the thought of making a list gives me a queezy feeling in my stomach; I don’t even have a warm market, I don’t know anyone, the people I do know are total slugs and energy vampires, I’ve burnt my warm market with 11 other network marketing businesses, I live in a town of 312 people and they all hate network marketing, people run screaming when they see me coming, I’ve already called everyone on my list – now what?”
Does any of that sound familiar? So, let’s get into it. How do you build a network marketing list? …Which brings me to Bite #2.

MLM Leader or MLM Guru?…What’s It Gonna Be?
I set out today to write a post about an amazing private MLM Leadership webinar I attended yesterday hosted by an specatcular MLM Leader, Ray Higdon. I was thinking about all the valuable content he shared, how I could be an even better MLM leader to my team and others in the MLM community. So many ideas about what to share because there was so much amazing content.
Should I blog about the 3 problem areas most MLM Leaders face? Should I share about how to identify your perfect prospect and focus on how to solve their problems? Should I tell you all the amazing tidbits Ray shared with us lucky MLM leaders based on his studies of John Maxwell’s books? Or perhaps I should blow your mind with what Ray shared with us about intellectual property - what it is, as an MLM Leader why you need it, where to find it and how to create and leverage it…
What should I blog about?
Well, guess what, I’m not gonna blog about any of those things…today…
No, today, because MLM leadership is clearly on my mind, I’m going to tell you about my journey as an MLM Leader this past year and what’s been happening to me.
Those of you who are loyal readers have probably noticed my sporadic postings this past year. And, before I go blogging about MLM Leadership and other citing other people’s content, I think it’s important to be completely transparent with you about me.
Can a true MLM Leader get burnout?
Last year, I saved myself from a succumbing to a serious case of burnout. That’s right, I nearly burnt myself out of my business. For the past 14 years I have been working a very high level, high stress corporate J.O.B. and for the past 3 of those years, I have also been an Entrepreneur, and a mom and a wife, etc. You know the drill. I’m sure many of you reading this right now have been trying to balance your life, your J.O.B., your business and a bunch of other things too.
That’s why this burnout conversation is so important.
Three years ago, I began my journey to become an MLM Leader …
…with a blindfold on and my hands tied behind my back and in my search to figure it all out, I came upon an amazing community of people that taught me internet marketing … the answer to all my problems of how to create success in network marketing and become an MLM Leader. …or so I thought.
I threw myself in like there was no tomorrow, learning every program, every system, every tool, every possible way to create and syndicate content, make videos, blogs, backlinks, articles, ezines, PPC, social media…you name it, I learned it. My appetite was voracious and I fed it. I posted, I blogged, I Facebooked and Tweeted. I woke up at 5 am and went to bed at 1 am.
And guess what? It all worked. I generated tons of leads every day, people were jumping into my business and calling ME… It was just like they said…except for the part where I got so burnt out that I didn’t even want to touch my blog or look at a video camera for almost a year…Oh and for the part where I realized that all that wasn’t duplicable and my team was struggling.
Well, let me qualify that, what I was doing wasn’t duplicable… Simply put: Being a guru is not duplicable. And instead of becoming the MLM Leader I set out to become, all I was on the path to become was some sort of guru. I had a following, sure. People joining me, sure. But then they tried to do what I did and many of them failed. Why? …Because being an MLM Guru is not duplicable!
What I did wasn’t sustainable or duplicable. So, I pulled back. Started focusing on balance, instead of trying to do everything. Started focusing on improving my MLM Leader skills. Started focusing on building locally and using the internet as a tool to connect with people instead of the be all and end all. Started learning duplicable skills and systems that people who aren’t guru-bound, could learn and prosper with too. Oh yeah, and I let myself have a little bit of sleep and little bit of fun too
And guess what? This stuff works!
Being an MLM Leader doesn’t have to mean killing yourself to the point of exhaustion. It means being the inspired example that people can follow and duplicate to achieve their own success.
So, I’m taking this moment to share this story with you because I know there are lots of people out there who are reading this right now (you?) that are killing themselves trying to do all this fancy stuff in order to be an MLM Leader and guess what, you can stop. Breathe. Do what’s simple and duplicable, because your team (even if you don’t have one yet) is counting on that so they can do it too.
You can follow great MLM Leaders like Ray Higdon, Erwin McKen, Dave Lovett, etc …And if you really look at them and others like them who have a great, big, growing DUPLICATING team, they are keeping it real…simply connecting with as many people as possible, inviting and following up. That’s it.
So, that’s what’s been on my mind. Whew! And now that this is off my chest, I expect you’ll be hearing a lot more from me in the coming, days, weeks, months, years. …and that feels great!

When you’re pushing up daisies, and you are but a memory to your loving family, what will your legacy be?
Okay, I don’t want to get morbid here…Afterall, this is a network marketing/internet marketing blog. Just roll with me for a sec. You’re in network marketing, you have a product…Will you be passing that product down to your family as a legacy? If yes, you are probably marketing gold and silver with Numis Network. Now I know that sounds kind of funny coming from me. If you’ve been following me at all, you know that I’ve built my business from GENERATING my own home based business leads with my attraction marketing system. So then, why would I tell you to do differently?

This could be a whole blog post in and of itself. I can’t tell you how important abundance mindset is in prospecting and recruiting. When you have a list of 100, 500, 1000 leads in your posession, you will have the feeling of abundance. That way, when you’re talking to your “good leads” (whatever that is to you), you will not be so attached to them. Your leads (aka people) can feel that. Your strong desire (desperation?) to sign them up comes across in every word out of your mouth. When you have a bunch of purchased home based business leads in your hand, subconsciously, you eliminate that lack mentality and feel lead abundance. Your posture changes and the way you talk to your prospect changes. Your results change. So simple. So true.
Practice, Practice, Practice Makes Perfect, Perfect, Perfect
There’s no arguing that practice at anything makes you better. Would an athelete ever go to the olympics without practicing? Would an actor ever show up on set without having rehearsed their lines? Why would you ever think that as a professional Network Marketer you shouldn’t practice? Purchased home based business leads are great to practice on. Buy a big ol’ bunch of cheap bulk leads and practice what you’re learning from your mentors. Don’t think about signing these leads up (although you might). Think about practicing a technique that you just learned or a new script. Your prospecting will get so fluid and beautiful, you might just want to do it on stage.
Increase Your Recruiting Results
Really, the first two reasons are all about this one. Increasing your results. You are guaranteed to get better at something when you’ve practiced. You’re guaranteed to attract and sign up more people when you’re feeling abundance. In the end of the day, it’s all about results. If you feel you deserve to have results in your business, then get out there and buy some home based business leads and GET GOOD AT PROSPECTING!

Have you ever had an MLM Distributors slump? You know, you’ve sponsored a bunch of people and then…Nothing…Nada……[crickets]… The MLM Distributors vacuum has come and sucked them all away and you feel this void. Suddenly whatever momentum you had created has ceased and yourself in Munchkinland and have no idea how to get to get back home to Kansas. First of all you must realize that you are not alone.
Every great MLM Leader has experienced an MLM Distributors slump.
You are in good company. You must remember that every business has ups and downs along the way. Network Marketing is no different. If you want to get back on the yellow brick road to Emerald City, there are some simple things you can do.

DO-Be consistent.

It’s like those horrible flying monkeys coming and swooping you away from your yellow brick road into the castle of the Wicked Witch. Your doubts and fears take over and your MLM Distributor slump only increases. To combat the flying monkeys, you must take massive contrary action — immediately.

DON’T stop connecting with your positive circle of influence daily.
You are a direct reflection of the top 5 people you hang around with. Remember Dorothy attracted 3 laser-focused, like-minded souls that were all on the journey with her. They would let nothing stop them from seeing Oz and getting what they wanted…their reasons “why”…And more importantly, they helped and supported each other along the way.
DO read and listen to personal development materials no matter what.
You MUST MUST MUST keep your head in the game by working on yourself and your beliefs every single day. In fact, this morning I was listening to an interview with a great MLM Leader, Ray Higdon, and he was quoting Zig Ziglar who said that personal development is like bathing, you have to do it daily.
However, When you’re in an MLM Distributor slump, you must not only “bathe” in personal development, you must do it more often and longer than you do regularly. You must flood your brain with positive messages to counteract the self-sabotage that often comes with an MLM Distributors slump. It is KEY!
(NOTE: All top MLM Earners are religious about personal development. Coincidence? I think not.)
DON’T forget — fear is an illusion that will sabotage you if you let it.
F.E.A.R. = Forgetting Everything’s All Right. You don’t need to “get back” to where you were when you were consistently sponsoring MLM Distributors…You are, in fact, already there and had never really left. Just decide to open your eyes and recognize it.
DO remember that you have the power.
When you are find yourself trying to claw your way back into production and out of an MLM Distributors slump, realize that you need only “click your heels together 3 times” and you can get back anytime you want to …because you never really left. It’s so simple. You just need a mentor (in Dorothy’s case, Glinda, the good witch of the north) to remind you of it.
And, when you do these things and begin to sponsor MLM Distributors again, you too will be chanting, “There’s no place like home”.

Okay, you’re up there doing your MLM business opportunity presentation — you’ve got your power point, your whiteboard, your flip-chart, etc. You’re holding that marker, that clicker, etc… You begin your MLM business opportunity presentation and it’s going pretty well.
You have your prospects rapt attention. They’re listening, laughing at your jokes, nodding when you nod and ask them a “yes” question. They’re in the palm of your hand. One of them is even pulling out her iPhone to take pictures of your slides on the screen…
Your MLM business opportunity presentation is THAT good.
They see the freedom. They see the possibilities for their new life…They are starting to move from the “E” quadrant over to the “B” quadrant in their minds (if you don’t get this reference, you need to read this book by Robert Kiyosaki NOW)….This MLM Business opportunity presentation couldn’t be going better.
They loved your product. They went wild about your compensation plan for your MLM business opportunity. But suddenly the one that’s so excited (the one with the iPhone taking pictures and copious notes) begins to change.
You can almost see the FEAR come over her and snatch her away. But instead of the fear turning inward on her, it morphs into a weapon laser focused on …uh-oh…Y-O-U!
She suddenly turns into Super Pyramid-Hating Heckler Woman right there in the middle of your MLM business opportunity presentation. Aahhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Suddenly, she puts her iPhone down and pen/paper down, and she’s spouting out the dreaded “pyramid objection” with her arms crossed in front of her. And she launches into a monologue about “pyramids”…The heads of all the other prospects turn to look at her as she attempts to take center stage.
What do you do?
Here’s 3 ways to handle this type of MLM Pyramid-Hating Hecker emerging at your MLM business opportunity presentation:
1 – THE DAVID WOOD RESPONSE.
Do what my buddy Dave Wood recommends. Stare at her quizzically for a second and say…”Really? (slight chuckle)…Pyramids haven’t been around for about 40 years…Where have you been?”…and then just get on with your MLM business opportunity presentation.
2 – THE CORPORATE PYRAMID RESPONSE.
Grab your marker and white board and draw out the structure of a traditional corporation, CEO at the top, SVPs, VPs, Middle Management…. all the way down to Assistants at the bottom… and ask her what that looks like. (If you do it right, it looks like a pyramid). Now ask her if the CEO gives a rats a&%# if the assistants at the bottom of the pyramid ever get wealthy…or if the CEO’s wealth is directly tied to the Assistant’s becoming successful and wealthy. She will probably shut up.
3 – THE TAKE AWAY.
Politely but firmly call her by her first name several times in the middle of her rant until she stops speaking and either do #1 and/or #2 and if those don’t work, tell her that this probably isn’t for her and invite her to leave your MLM business opportunity presentation.
Don’t be afraid of the take away! A Negative Nellie/Energy Vampire like that does not deserve your MLM Business Opportunity presentation or your time/energy.
If you’ve set up your presentation correctly in the beginning, you’ve probably told your prospects that some of them would be very excited by what they’re about to see and want to take action, some would see the opportunity but be too fearful to take action or some would see it and know it was not for them. At this point, you could remind the room of what you had said. Point out that this was proven true, and move on with the rest of your MLM business opportunity presentation like the Pro that you are.
Whoever remains after a heckler’s attempt to disrupt will likely be relieved that they are gone and even more open because the extreme of the life they are ready to change has been put in front of them in technicolor. They will be more committed and actually be “rooting” for you. They will see you as the leader that you are.
If you’re a positive-minded, glass-half-full person like me, you’ll see that it is actually a gift. A weird gift, but a gift nevertheless.
And, on top of the gift, the bonus is, you’ve now earned another stripe on your MLM uniform. Good for you! Once you have that experience under your belt, your confidence will spike ten-fold and you will know that no matter what comes your way, you are, as my good friend and mentor Ray Higdon likes to say UN-MESSABLE.
So, to you who have been heckled by a pyramid-hater at your MLM business opportunity presentation I say this: CONGRATULATIONS! Welcome to the big leagues!

Can you have success with MLM if you’re always screwing up on the phone?
Absolutely! In fact, I’d say you’ll have more success in MLM if you’re constantly screwing up on the phone. Here’s why. YOU’RE ON THE PHONE! Being on the phone with prospects is how we make money in MLM. Actually, the two money-making actitivities for success with MLM are RETAILING and RECRUITING. As long as you’re on the phone doing one of those two things, you’re guaranteed success with MLM.
Now at this point, you may be thinking:
Yeah, Amy, but you said you’d have success with MLM if you’re SCREWING UP on the phone.
How is that possible?” Good question. I’ll tell you how. Actually, I’ll tell you what inspired this post. It was my prospect, Dr. Jekyll or was it Mr. Hyde!?
This morning, I rolled out of bed, sneezing and stuffy — head cold…and I looked at my clock and realized I had scheduled a follow up with a prospect. I had spoken to this gentleman 2 days prior. Someone I’d met at a networking function months ago.
Backtracking….Two days ago, I decided that if I truly wanted success with MLM, I’d better get out of my comfort zone and do something different. So I whipped out the enormous stack of business cards I’ve been accumulating from various functions and got to work calling. I had a great chat with this prospect, who was warm and kind, and extremely open to making extra money and totally intrigued by my primary network marketing company (Dr. Jekyll) and he agreed to watch a presentation! (FYI, this whole conversation was about 5ish minutes long. )
Well, when I picked up the phone to call him this morning at our schedule time, that warm, sweet lovely man (Dr. Jekyll) was replaced with a rushed , belligerent, unhappy man who absolulely challenged me at every turn (Mr. Hyde). He was argumentative, agressive and had attitude for days. A prospect monster!
Well now, I’ve sponsored plenty of people into my primary business over the past year and change, so I’m pretty comfortable dealing with all different types — even prospect monsters. But today, I was off my game. I was not well, I was tired, I was off guard and I screwed up this call. Needless to say, he did not sign up. LOL.
Why am I telling you this? Here’s why:
If you want success with MLM you must, must, must remember these 3 things:
If you’re getting a lot of prospect monsters (aka jerks) like this on the phone, congratulations…because it’s a numbers game and if you’re getting A LOT of jerks, then you are on the phone A LOT. Which means you’re getting a lot of jerks, a lot of uninterested nice people, and your share of open, interested people with whom you are creating relationships ….and you are sponsoring A LOT!…
You can’t say the wrong thing to the right person. Cedrick Harris taught me that when I first started. So true. No matter how much I screwed up my end of the conversation, if he wanted to come in the business, my screw up wouldn’t stop him.
Who cares! If you care, then you were too attached to your prospect and that means you don’t have enough leads and you are living in lack. Ray Higdon taught me that everyone who has success with MLM is either living in lack or abundance. If one idiot prospect sends you into a tail spin, you’re living in lack mentality. If you have the ability to shrug it off and move on, then you are living in abudance and you know that there’s millions of people out there waiting for you to call them with your opportunity. So…NEXT!
Why you should care about this:
I’m sharing this with you because I want you to recognize that even MLM Leaders screw up from time to time. We’re human. But we shrug it off, have a laugh and move on and that’s why we have success with MLM. If you have a sincere, burning desire for that success (you deserve it!), pick up that 800 pound phone often, and practice the art of the shrug off when you encounter a prospect monster, have a laugh and move on! MLM Leaders. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. I’ve had them all.

Unfortunately, most people don’t get to work with truly inspired MLM Leaders.
And for those of you who have a crappy sponsor, and a crappy upline and a crappy leader, I bet you’d wonder what it’s like to work with an incredibly awesome, giving, talented, fun, rockin’ group of MLM Leaders each and every day to build your business.
Well, knowing that great MLM Leaders don’t grow on trees (or even in every Network Marketing company), I decided to give you an idea of just what happens when you get a hotel room, packed to the gills with MLM Leaders chillin’ after an event.
BTW, have you ever been to a live event?
[HINT: If you are successful and making money, you just said “Of course I have Amy! Are you nuts?! All MLM Leaders attend events!”]
Well, at live events, as you KNOW, all the best stuff really happens before, after and in-between all the formal training and speakers. When you rub shoulders with amazing MLM Leaders at events, hang out with them, have a meal, catch a quiet moment in the corner of the room, play blackjack (hey, we were in Vegas!), or even chill out in the hotel room of the MLM Leaders after all is said and done, that’s where the magic happens.
So, here is your hidden camera, fly-on-the-wall opportunity to voyeuristically peer into a hotel room full of MLM Leaders like Ray Higdon, David Wood, Erwin McKen, Dave Lovett, Larry Beacham, (Oh yeah, I was there too
… and you can see a sliver of the magic that happens when that energy all goes into focus…It’s magical.
BTW, that was only 4ish minutes of a session that lasted over an hour.
Ask yourself: Does your business have MLM Leaders like that?
Do you get to connect with them across the whole company – downline, upline, crossline, sideline …anywhere in the entire company and build together? Because that’s the way it should be.
You deserve to be in a company that has vision, and great leadership that will show you the way to success. You deserve to be learning from great MLM Leaders that will teach you what they know and mentor you whether they earn from you or not! You deserve that!
So, what do you do if you don’t have that? You have 2 options. Option 1: Build it anyway. Period. You can, you know. You’re capable of figuring it out if you want it bad enough. Option 2: Stop reinventing the wheel and align yourself with the right MLM Leaders and join a team that will help you get yourself there.
So which of the MLM Leaders are you gonna choose? The Good? Or The Bad and The Ugly?

Don’t read this Network Marketing Blog!!!
It’s an absolute and total waste of your time. Really. I mean it. Stop reading right now…LOL. You’re still here. Okay, then I guess you deserve some sort of explanation for that rather bold statement.
Well here’s what I see a lot of when it comes to Network Marketing blogs. I see so many great marketers out there writing great, important information on their network marketing blogs like Ray Higdon, David Wood, Eric Worre , Jessica Peretti and so many others. I know people are commenting, sharing it on Facebook, Retweeting, Digging, Tumbling and Flickring til the cows come home and yet there’s still a whole lot of Network Marketers struggling. 
That kind of made me go “hmmm” ….
I mean, what is a great Network Marketing blog good for if all this awesome information is out there is being read but not used?
So, here’s what I think is going on. There’s a lot of what Jeffery Combs likes to call “getting ready to get ready” going on. Reading Network Marketing Blogs, watching Network Marketing training, listening to Network Marketing Audios, webinars, conference calls, script books, prospecting training…all this HOW TO stuff and no darn ACTION TAKING.
All the Network Marketing blogs, videos and training in the world won’t help you if you don’t pick up the phone and get to work! This is a phone business; there’s no way around that.
And you can use a Network Marketing blog, youtube channel or whatever content you like to try to hide behind but you won’t make any money.
And you DESERVE to make money in this awesome industry that gives you boundless opportunity and no glass ceiling on earning potential.
Now, I’m not saying these sites are not valuable. You might have noticed that I have a Network Marketing blog. There is value there. But you have to look at how much time you have to devote to your business every week. You have to understand that the majority of it better be retailing and recruiting time and then allot a reasonable percentage of it to personal development, training and marketing. … Retailing and recruiting (the only things that actually PAY you) come first.
So, make time for it, but in proportion to the time you have overall to work your business. And, for goodness sakes, if you’re gonna make time for only one Network Marketing blog a week, let it be this one! LOL.
Now get back to work!

Do you get CHEAP THRILLS from your autoship?
I don’t care if it’s gold and silver, energy drinks, juice made with berries picked by midget, buddhist monks in the jungles of Madagascar or Aztec grain (I threw that one in for my friend and MLM top earner, Ray Higdon who has done them all, even Aztec grain…who knew?).
If your MLM product does not send a shiver up your spine when your autoship arrives at your door, you’ve got to ask yourself some hard questions about the business you’ve chosen.
And, although I love gold and silver, the tip in this video is really for any MLM Product.
It’s about beliefs. Not about gold and silver, wild berries full of anti-oxidants, the latest greatest video email, this is about YOUR beliefs in YOUR company. So, if every fiber of your being, every cell in your body, every hair on your head doesn’t gel with what company you’re representing, then you have to look at that…Because if you don’t, you’re going to notice soon enough that the balance in your account is only getting smaller and not bigger.
